Write more than Samuel Pepys

Samuel Pepys' personal diary amounted to thousands of pages before he eventually stopped and later passed away. There are many notable diarists, most notably Virginia Woolf and Anais Nin. Even if the quality of my own writings don't quite meet those of others, I'd like to at least write as much in volume. Seems to me the effort is the thing. The gold in one's life might be scant, but one has to keep digging until one finds it.
